Lago Maggiore Express

Cardada – Cimetta

From the geological observation station on Cimetta you can enjoy the breath-taking 360° panoramic view: from the Delta of Maggia between Locarno and Ascona (the lowest point of Switzerland) up to the Monte Rosa mountain (the highest point of Switzerland). In winter it’s an ideal place for your ski holidays.

Monte Tamaro

Monte Tamaro is an alpine experience just a stone’s throw away from the city. Here you will enjoy the unique scenery: landscape of hills in pre-Alps, wonderful lakes and alpine peaks covered with snow.

Chiesa S.Maria degli Angeli

S. Maria degli Angeli church is a masterpiece of the architect Mario Botta with paintings of Enzo Cucchi. The church was built in 1992-1994 to unite two languages: architecture and painting.
